A club of investors, InnoInvest, has been created in Azerbaijan to finance start-up projects, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan told Trend Oct. 1.
The club will promote expanding the use of innovations, integrating new technologies into the economy, improving the industry investment environment, targeted use of foreign capital, etc.
One of the main tasks of the club also includes the development of entrepreneurship in ICT and the reduction of budget expenditures by raising foreign capital.
The main idea of creating the club is that startupers would not be dependent solely on the state support, so that they could find new investors, have the opportunity to commercialize their projects and bring them to international markets.
