BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 26
By Fidan Babayeva - Trend:
The service of managing the postal and financial services of Azerpost LLC has expanded with new options - through a mobile application, as well as online, Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies told Trend.
"This project on managing postal and financial services of Azerpost LLC will cover both Baku and the country's districts," said the source.
The ministry said the mentioned online services are intended for both individuals and legal entities. A more efficient courier service will be ensured.
Azerpost LLC renders support for a number of social projects being implemented by the state during the special quarantine regime imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
The process of issuing lump sum payment (190 manat or $111) to the unemployed and informally working low-income citizens who lost their jobs during the special quarantine regime, has also been successfully completed at the post offices.
The payments to more than 590,000 citizens within the project were made by Azerpost LLC.
To ensure the use of financial services by citizens within quarantine, the field postal services were organized in Baku’s settlements without having the residents to leave their places of residence.
Today, Azerpost LLC, being the only national postal operator of Azerbaijan, renders the services to citizens during the week, including Saturday, Sunday and holidays. The answers to the questions of citizens are given, their suggestions are listened and evaluated around the clock through the call center "169".
