The rules for the formation and collection of fees, tariffs for airport services and aircraft servicing of the Republic of Uzbekistan were approved upon the order of the minister of transport, Trend reports referring to www.kun.uz.
The rules have been developed on the basis of the Air Code, the government’s decisions on the development of tourism and the improvement of civil aviation, as well as in accordance with the recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The charges for air navigation services for aircraft are calculated according to the methodology of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol).
The fees and tariffs for servicing aircraft at the airports in Uzbekistan and air navigation services are different depending on the flights - domestic or international.
The uniform fees and tariffs are set in accordance with the law for the airlines that are residents of Uzbekistan and operating the flights within the country.
The rules thoroughly describe the tariff setting mechanism for each type of services which are rendered, in particular, 45 types of fees are mentioned only for ground handling services at the airports.
