Volume of loaded/unloaded cargo in Iran’s Genaveh port down

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Genaveh port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) decreased by 8 percent in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (June 23 through August 22, 2021), compared to the 4th month (June 22 through July 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, a total of 11,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the 5th month. Of this, 2,500 tons were loaded and 8,500 tons were unloaded.

Within the fifth month, 80 tons of cargo were imported through the Genaveh port.

In addition, 2,500 tons of cargo were loaded and 2,500 tons were unloaded in the port for cabotage over the reporting month.

According to the statistics, 208 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for transshipment and 5,750 tons were unloaded for other purposes in the fifth month.

So, 10,800 tons of small and assorted products and 208 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Genaveh port within the mentioned month.

As reported, about 11.3 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the fifth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.98 million tons were loaded and 5.29 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 9.8 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
