Kazakhstan, Almaty, 19 September / Trend corr. R.Mashadihasanli / Participants of the international Friendship Marathon, which started in Astana at the beginning of September, arrived in Taldikorgan city of Kazakhstan, Alizade Musayev, the director of the Taldikorgan city branch of the Azerbaijanis Association Open Ltd., told Trend correspondent.
Runners' route with 3.500km length goes through Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Marathoners have arrived in Ekibastuz, Pavlodar and Ust-Kamenogorski regions. They intend to run through Almaty, Bishkek, Tashkent and Dushanbe, as well. Participants of the heat, including engineers, economists, entrepreneurs and doctors, names themselves as propagandists of active and healthy style of life.
The heat is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Astana and victories of Kazakhstan in the Beijing Olympic Games. Participants of the heat carry torch of the World, which was touched by many famous people of the world.
