BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Kazakhstan has a diversified oil transportation system for export and supply to the domestic market, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Akchulakov said at the ministerial meeting, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakh media.

The Kazakh oil is exported along the oil pipeline of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline, Atasu-Alashankou oil pipeline, Seaport of Aktau and via railway.

“There is no restriction on oil export,” the minister said. “I instruct to start developing a project together with KazMunayGas and KazTransOil for further expansion of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline up to 12 million tons per year taking into account declining production at the Aktobe and Kumkol fields to ensure the stable operation of the oil and gas complex, meet the demand of the domestic market for oil products and further diversify the export routes for oil transportation.”
