BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 14. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan shattered Armenian hopes that someone would come to protect them, thereby justifying their provocations, Deputy Prime Minister Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi told reporters, Trend reports.
Tileuberdi stated that the possible dispatch of Kazakh peacekeepers to Armenia is out of the question amidst the aggravation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at the extraordinary meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council informed heads of states, members of CSTO about the situation on Azerbaijani-Armenian border. In general, information was accepted. Naturally, members of CSTO wanted to receive objective information, because different information comes from both sides. Thus, heads of states decided that the CSTO Secretary-General should go to the site, get proper information, and then inform them," he said.
