BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Kyrgyzstan's GDP increased from January through July 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the Committee, the GDP in Kyrgyzstan in the first seven months of this year increased by 7.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021 - up to 425 billion soums ($5.1 billion).

Excluding enterprises for the development of the Kumtor mine, the value of GDP in the reporting period amounted to more than 393 billion soums ($4.7 billion).

Earlier, the Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov reported that the country's GDP in 2022 is projected at 824 billion soums ($10.3 billion).
