BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. The final route of the highway project between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan has been selected, the representative of Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Transport and Communications, Aizada Ozbekova announced today, Trend reports via Kyrgyz Media.

According to her, the economic analysis of the Almaty-Issyk-Kul highway project has been completed. The final route will be: "Almaty - Uzynagash - Kastek pass - Karasay-Batyr - Kemin - Issyk-Kul".

Ozbekova noted that the total cost of the project, which aims to increase the country's tourism potential, will be $80 - $90 million.

Meanwhile, according to Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Transport and Communications preliminary forecasts, this project could generate revenue of $53 million.
