BAKU, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan 10. Russian Aeroflot company launches new direct regular flights from Russian Saint Petersburg to Tajik Dushanbe, the company told reporters, Trend reports via Tajik media.
The flights will be carried out from March 12 via Boeing 737 aircraft.
It is planned to operate the flights twice a week – on Fridays and Sundays. In particular, the SU762 flight is scheduled to depart from Saint Petersburg at 12:30 AM (GMT+3) and arrive in Dushanbe at 7:35 AM (GMT+5).
“Aeroflot’s flights to Tajik capital will contribute to the development of economic and cultural ties between the two countries, as well as expand the opportunities for tourism,” the company said.
It is noted, that Aeroflot got permission to operate charter flights from Tajikistan to Russia in 2021.
Earlier, the company resumed flights to Kazakhstan's Almaty on February 1.
Aeroflot is the largest airline company in Russia, founded in 1923. The “Aeroflot” Group includes Rossiya and Pobeda airlines. As of 2021, the company operated flights to 146 destinations in 52 countries.
