BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 22. Businessmen of Kazakhstan purchased granular sulfur during trading on July 21 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.
Kazakh entrepreneurs purchased 20,000 tons of granular sulfur on the exchange at a price of $230 per ton. The total value of the transaction was $4.6 million.
Meanwhile, businessmen from Kazakhstan on June 6 also purchased cotton yarn on the Turkmen exchange for $87,100.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
