BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 19. The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has revealed plans to hold an auction for the privatization of 46 state-owned assets, Trend reports.
According to official data, the auction, scheduled for July 5th, will include service sector facilities such as shops, cafes, canteens, and a wellness center. Additionally, administrative buildings, a carpet factory, and production facilities will also be put up for auction.
Among the largest objects put up for auction are a livestock and poultry farm with an area of 25,500 square meters and a two-story building in the Lebap region, the Dowrebap shopping and entertainment center (8,800 square meters) in the same region, a pipe plant in the Dashoguz region (6,400 square meters) and the administrative building of the Nur Zaman enterprise in Ashgabat city (4,300 square meters).
The auction will be conducted through the digital auction site of state property and also via the mobile application associated with this platform.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan for the last time in early June 7 2023 also put up for sale 36 objects of state property.
