ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 1. The Lebap region of Turkmenistan prepares 300 combines for cotton harvesting, Trend reports.
According to an official source, given the high productivity of John Deere-type cotton harvesters, all of them were equipped with auxiliary mechanization.
All conditions were created for the productive work of experienced mechanized workers who are able to work on 10-15 hectares of land every day, unloading 30-35 tons of cotton from the storage.
Meanwhile, farmers of the Ahal, Balkan, Lebap, and Mary regions will start the cotton harvest season on September 9, and farmers of the Dashoguz region, located in the north of Turkmenistan, due to local soil and climatic conditions, will join them later, on September 15.
