ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 13. The enterprises of the 'Azyk' production association of the Lebap region of Turkmenistan produced a total of 6,007 tons of unrefined cottonseed oil from January through August this year, Trend reports.
During this period, the production association also produced 4,919 tons of refined cottonseed oil, 14,983 tons of oil meal, 10,189 tons of bran, 99 tons of soap.
Thus, cotton processing enterprises successfully completed the production plan from January through August of this year.
In terms of value, the enterprises of the production association manufactured products worth over 61.4 million Turkmen manat ($17.52 million), most of which was obtained through the production and sale of cottonseed oil during the specified period.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan has been actively working on the development of its industrial sector in recent years. Strategic investments and modernization of equipment contribute to an increase in production capacity, which contributes to economic growth and the creation of new jobs.
