Shavkat Mirziyoyev gets prize "For Merits to Eurasia"

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded in absentia with the prize “For Merits to Eurasia” in Ankara on April 23, EurAsia Daily news agency reported.

The award was presented for the first time. It was established by the new EcoAvrasya Turkish public association of business people.

The board of directors of EcoAvrasya took into account a number of the head of state's merits, such as profound and dynamic reforms that positively influence the transformation of Uzbekistan and the entire region, as well as his foreign policy.

The participants specifically noted the rapid growth of relations with a number of countries in Central and South-East Asia. It was also noted that Shavkat Mirziyoyev has managed to establish partnership in various spheres with Afghanistan, China, Turkey, South Korea and Russia in recent years.

The award ceremony was attended by adviser on ideology to the President of Turkey Yalcin Topci, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Ozlu, members of the Turkish Parliament and representatives of foreign countries.
