Singapore Cooperation Enterprise will take part in the realization of the project on social and economic development of the Jizzakh region, Trend reports with reference to Dunyo News Agency.
It announced during the negotiations between the heads of the National Agency for Project Management (NAPM) and the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE).
The parties held an online meeting to activate the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in June 2020, between the NAPM and SCE on implementation of the project of stable economic development of the Jizzakh region.
The Singaporean side noted that it would be an honor for the organization to contribute to the implementation of the Project Concept by consolidating not only the best Singaporean specialists of SCP Consultants Pte Ltd but also practical support from China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Co Ltd (CCSD).
The representatives of the organization made a presentation on the Singaporean side's vision and approach to the implementation of the master plan for the development of the Jizzakh region, the preparation of which may take approximately one year.
In this regard, it was agreed to send to NAPM proposals to the Master Plan Concept by SCE for further consultations on this project.
The Singapore Cooperation Enterprise was set up by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore in 2006 to respond effectively to the multitude of foreign requests interested in Singapore’s development experience.
