The index of Uzbekistan's financial sector at the Uzbek Republican Stock Exchange reached 521.63 points on Feb.24, decreasing by 5.89 points from Feb. 23, Trend reports via the Exchange.
The figure for the industrial sector has fallen, settling at 10,625.9 points – a decrease of 8.7 points compared to the Feb.23 figure (10,634.60 points).
The figure for the construction sector has risen to 5,518.15 points on Feb.24 from 5,215.96 points on Feb.23.
The index of the trade sector reached 14,920.5 points on Feb.24, increasing by 942 points compared to Feb.23 figure (13,978.50 points).
Uzbekistan's "Toshkent" republican stock exchange was formed in 1994, to help further expand economic reforms in the country, ensure protection of private property and development of business.
