BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. The National Project Management Agency under the President of Uzbekistan has been reorganized into the National Agency for Advanced Projects, Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
The priority area of activity of the renewed agency is work with crypto assets. In particular, the agency is instructed to:
- develop and implement a unified state policy in the field of crypto assets circulation;
- ensure the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of investors in the field of circulation of crypto assets;
- participate in the development and implementation of measures to counter the legalization of criminal proceeds, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the field of crypto assets circulation;
- assist in initiating and promoting projects for the implementation of distributed ledger technology and other latest technologies in the field of public administration and various socio-economic areas.
