Iran's Deputy Minister of Road and Urban Development Mohammad Rastad has inaugurated three maritime projects in Khoramshahr in the Khuzestan Province.
The projects include a container terminal and cargo loading and a discharge at Khorramshahr Port with a 15-hectare container waterfront that was established thanks to $41.6 million worth of investments, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Rastad has also inaugurated a quay overhaul project. Also, two quays were opened after major overhaul.
Meanwhile, a passenger terminal at Khoramshahr Port, with modern facilities has been set up. It will provide services to some 1,200 passengers daily.
