Bank Mellat to support foreign investors in Iran's capital market

Two Iranian financial organizations, Exchange and Securities Organization and Bank Mellat, have reached an agreement on cooperation.

Under the agreement, Iran’s Bank Mellat will provide foreigners, who invest in the country’s capital market, with banking services, Mehr news agency reported.

The head of Iran’s Exchange and Securities Organization, Mohammadraza Mohseni, has said that Bank Mellat will carry out trades on behalf of foreign investors in Iran’s capital market through its branches in the country and abroad.

According to the report, the agreement paves the way for foreigners, including South Koreans to invest in the country’s capital market.
