Iran to launch first phase of Jask Oil Terminal

In line with the program, the first phase of an oil export terminal located in Jask district of Iran’s Hormozgan province will be commissioned by mid-March 2021, Governor General of Hormozgan Province Fereydoun Hemmati said, Trend reports via ISNA.

He said that the creation of the oil export terminal is one of the key projects within the development of the Mokran coastline.

He said that 2 million barrels of oil will be exported as part of the first phase of the terminal.

He added that this terminal will provide conditions for the export of 10 million barrels of oil.

“The terminal’s project was initiated by two local companies,” he said.

He added that oil transportation pipelines and big oil reservoirs will be created as part of this project.

He noted that $2.5 million was invested in the commissioning of the project.
