TEHRAN, Iran, Oct. 25
Trend:
The exports of Iran's HVAC industry have increased by 23 percent in last Iranian year (began March 21, 2018), while the country plans to raise the industry production to $200 million by 2021, said Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Trend reports citing Iranian media.
"The country's current capacity is to produce heating and air conditioning systems worth $80 million, and this will increase exports and foreign currency revenues in the future," said Reza Rahmani.
"The exports of HVAC industries has increased 23 percent in last Iranian year, while the import in this field has reduced by 10 percent," the minister added.
"There are good domestic HVAC brands with high quality that can potentially turn into prominent brands in the world," Rahmani said. "The current export regulations for some industries shall be facilitated to remove obstacles that limit exports."
The Iranian official has emphasized that the priority for the ministry is to consider non-oil exports revenue as an alternative to revenues from oil products' export.
