April 2021 data says Iran's mineral exports soar

Iran's official data says the country's exports of mineral products reached $667 million in the first month of the current Iranian year (started on March 21), which shows a growth of 193 percent compared to the previous year, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to statistics, more than 4.3 million tons of various mineral products were exported.

Steel products took the lion's share in the volume of exports during the same period, worth $406 million. Also, steel chain exports increased by 203 percent compared to same period last year.

Copper products took the second position for most exports in March through April 2021, worth $55 million (177-percent growth).

The highest growth rate of exports with 2,038 percent accounted for various products of pottery, brick, ceramics and tiles. In April over 4,171 tons of these products worth $2.5 million were exported.
