Polish Senate Marshal to arrive in Georgia

A delegation of the Republic of Poland, headed by Senate Marshal Bogdan Borusewicz will visit Georgia on June 25.

As the Georgian Parliament said, Borusewicz will meet with President Mikheil Saakashvili, Speaker David Bakradze, Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, the EU observation mission head Andrzej Tyszkiewicz, representatives of the parliamentary opposition and Polish Diaspora in Georgia.

On Wednesday, June 27, the Polish delegation will visit Kutaisi, where it will inspect the new parliament building. Polish guests will make a stop in the village of Terjola, where he will lay a wreath on the grave of former chairman of the parliamentary group of friendship with Poland Vano Khukhunaishvili.

On the same day the delegation will visit Batumi, where it will meet with the Chairman of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Levan Varshalomidze. The delegation members also will visit the Batumi House of Justice and Gonio Fortress.

Borusewicz will end his official visit to Georgia on June 28.
