Representatives of the pro-Kurdish Party of Democratic Unity (PDE) of Turkey visited northern Iraq to meet with officials of the Kurdish Administration, the Turkish Cihan information agency reported.
A five-member delegation led by Ahmed Turk, the leader of the PDE, will meet with Masud Barzani, the head of the Kurdish Administration, and Jalal Talabani, the Iraqi President. The PDE's delegation intends to submit its demands after discussing the Kurdish issue. One of these demands includes not supporting the Turkish military operations against the Kurdish Labor Party (KLP) in the north of Iraq.
