At least 160 kg of cocaine was seized on Thursday in a joint operation by Argentine and British police in the province of Buenos Aires in Argentina, police said Friday.
The drug was to be taken from Argentina to Europe and Africa by a luxury cruise, Xinhua reported.
An Argentine and a Serbian were arrested in the operation, conducted in a densely populated zone in Buenos Aires.
Police have been investigating the case for some time, and the inspection process speeded up when they found out one of the crew members of the cruise was in contact with the Serbian, Argentine police spokesman said.
