At least three people were killed and three others injured in a shootout at a birthday party Sunday in Mexico's southern state of Guerrero, police said.
The inccident took place at 2:00 a.m. local time (0700 GMT). A family was holding a birthday party at a restaurant in the Jaripo in Coyuca de Catalan municipality at the time. Several gunmen rushed in to shoot party-goers. Some armed party attendants also shot back, Xinhua reported.
In the end, two party-goers and one gunman were killed, and three other party-goers were injured.
