(ForUm) - September 26, Victor Yushchenko has met with Israeli President Moshe Katsav.
They discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to forge closer trade and economic ties between the two states. Mr Katsav said his country was ready and eagerto carry out scientific and investment projects with Ukraine, reports Trend.
The heads of state also spoke about the Lebanon issue. President Yushchenko saidit was vitalto settle the conflict peacefully.
Mr Katsav invited his colleague to visit Israel. The Ukrainian leadersaid he was looking forward to this visit.
