As many as 93,104 cars were delivered from the Turkish Tuzla port to the Italian port of Trieste from January through November 2021 and 92,950 cars in the opposite direction, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
Thus, 186,054 cars were transported between the two ports in the reporting period.
Turkish ports handled over 1.8 million cars in the first eleven months of 2021.
Ro-Ro ships delivered 709,954 cars to the Turkish ports during the reporting period.
Some 1.2 million cars were sent from the Turkish ports by Ro-Ro ships in 11M2021.
The Turkish ports handled 168,546 cars in November 2021 and Ro-Ro ships delivered 68,418 cars to the ports. Some 100,128 cars were sent from the ports.
