BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. Turkish steel exports to Kazakhstan decreased by 33.1 percent from January through April 2024 compared to the same month of 2023 and amounted to $7.8 million, Trend reports via the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye.
“In April 2024, Türkiye exported steel products worth $2.4 million to Kazakhstan, which is 8.3 percent more than the same period last year,” the ministry stressed.
From January through April 2024, Turkish steel exports increased by 12 percent year-on-year to $5.2 billion.
“Türkiye exported steel products worth $1.2 billion in April this year, which is 13.6 percent more than in April last year,” the ministry said in a statement.
To note, Türkiye exported steel products worth $15.4 billion in the last 12 months (April 2023-April 2024).
