Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev will discuss bilateral relations with Czech and Austrian leadership within his official visits to these countries, Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported.
"Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay an official visit to Austria on October 22-23, 2012 at the invitation of the President of the Federal Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer ... On October 23-24 Nazarbayev will pay an official visit to Czech Republic for the first time since the establishment of diplomatic relations," the Foreign Ministry said.
Within the visit to Czech Republic Nazarbayev will meet with Czech President Vaclav Klaus and Prime Minister Petr Necas.
"The parties will discuss the major milestones in the development of Kazakhstan-Czech relations, condition and prospects of further cooperation and opportunities to strengthen the mutually beneficial economic, scientific, cultural and humanitarian relations between the countries," the Ministry said.
A bilateral business forum will be held within the visit of Kazakh President to Prague.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will meet with Austrian President Heinz Fischer and President of Austrian Council Barbara Prammer within the visit to Austria.
"The parties plan to discuss the state and prospects of Kazakh-Austrian cooperation in political, trade, economic, energy, cultural and humanitarian fields, and exchange views on a wide range of issues on the international agenda," Kazakh Foreign Ministry said.
Within the visit of Kazakh President to Austria a major bilateral business forum will be held in Vienna. Business circles of the two countries will discuss the development of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Austria within the forum.
Several bilateral documents are planned to be signed in the spheres of education, chemistry, construction, engineering, medicine, navigation and tourism in the frame of the forum.
An official representative office of Kazakhstan Engineering Union will be opened in Austria and Business Council of businessmen of the two countries will be created.
In 2011 Kazakh-Czech turnover amounted to $211.7 million including $48.4 million of Kazakh exports and $163.3 million of Kazakh import. In January-August 2012 bilateral turnover amounted to $208.3 million, which is 38 percent higher than in the same period of 2011.
In 2011 Kazakh-Austrian bilateral trade exceeded $ 4 billion, including $3.877 billion of Kazakh export and $220.7 million of Kazakh import (49 percent increase compared to 2010). In January-August 2012 bilateral turnover amounted to $3.153 billion (32 percent increase compared to the same period of 2011).
