Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers as of 2014 and reprimanded some ministers, the local media reported Jan. 10.
During the meeting, President Berdimuhamedov reprimanded Minister of Finance M.Muhammedov, Minister of Economy and Development V.Abdylhakimov, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population B.Shamyradov, chairman of the Main State Tax Service Sh.Khummadov.
Then President Berdimuhamedov dismissed the chairman of board of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan G.Myradov in connection with his transfer to another position. The president appointed M.Annadurdyev to this position by dismissing him from the post of deputy chairman of board of the Central Bank.
Chairman of Board of the State Commercial Bank 'Turkmenistan' was dismissed for significant shortcomings in his work. K.Meredov was appointed to this position.
The president reprimanded deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Gochyev for the unsatisfactory activity and the shortcomings in his work. The president warned him if the deficiencies are not eliminated as soon as possible, he will be dismissed.
President Berdimuhamedov reprimanded some heads of the oil and gas complex.
By signing the relevant documents, President Berdimuhamedov dismissed the head of Turkmengaz State Concern Ch.Khommadov in connection with the transfer to another position.
A.Begliyev was appointed new head of the concern. Earlier, he served as Deputy Director of the State Agency for Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources under the President of Turkmenistan.
President Berdimuhamedov criticized the deputy chairman B.Yereshov. He said that the industrial complex headed by Yereshov does not fully cope with the tasks. The domestic market is not sufficiently provided with the high-quality domestic goods.
The Supreme Control Chamber checked the activity of the State Committee for Fisheries and revealed many shortcomings. The president dismissed Chairman of the State Committee for Fisheries D.Khodzhamyradov.
President Berdimuhamedov appointed T.Pashiyev to this position by signing the relevant documents. Earlier, he served as the deputy chairman of the aforementioned committee.
The president also pointed to the shortcomings in the work of the Ministry of Culture. In particular, he said that many cultural facilities were built in the capital, towns and villages of the country. Huge funds were allocated for their construction. But these facilities are not used properly.
