Azerbaijani-Kazakh political consultations are underway in Baku, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan told Trend on Monday.
A delegation headed by Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister, Amangeldy Zhumabayev has arrived in Baku.
Negotiations are to be held with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Deputy Minister Khalaf Khalafov.
The meetings are aimed at discussing a number of international and bilateral legal documents and agreements. In addition the Azerbaijani side will be requested to support Astana's candidacy for hosting the international exhibition EXPO-2017 in the Kazakh capital.
