Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 March / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / A protest action was staged in front of the Iranian Embassy in Turkey in connection to the violation of rights of south Azerbaijanis, the Turkic Nationalist Party of Azerbaijan informed Trend .
The rally was attended by the Human Right Community of Turk World, Union of Students of South Azerbaijan studying in Turkey, and activists from the Turkic Nationalist party of Azerbaijan.
Slogans regarding the violation of human rights of the Turks of South Azerbaijan by the Iranian Government, and mass arrests by Iranians were sounded during the rally.
Rally participants blamed the Iranian regime for ignoring International Convention, agreement on human rights, as well as demanding to stop the pressure against Azerbaijanis living in Iran.
The organizers of the rally made the decision to continue such actions.
According to unofficial information, 35mln Azerbaijanis reside in Iran.
