Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb.9 / Trend corr N. Kirtzkhalia / Negotiations with the European Union on simplification of visa process and formation of free trade is already underway, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said at a briefing on Feb.9.
The minister said it is an outset of the way which will definitely lead to the expected results and "Georgian citizens will feel these results materially."
According to Vashadze, the simplification of visa process will be completed by late 2009.
Talks on air communications between Georgia and the EU are ongoing. This route will enable airline companies to operate in a regular schedule and down prices for tickets.
The European Commission initiated for free air communications with Georgia which enable airline companies to enhance their activities in the EU countries.
