The foreign ministers of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development-GUAM plan to discuss cooperation in Kiev. The organization unites Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova.
The GUAM Ministerial Council's meeting will take place on the day of the opening of the new GUAM headquarters in Kiev on Feb. 26, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine told Trend on Feb. 23.
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will represent Azerbaijan at the meeting, the embassy said.
The meeting will discuss GUAM efforts to bypass the financial crisis, Interfax-Ukraine quoted Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Press Officer Vasyl Kyrylych as telling journalists on Feb. 23.
