The delegation of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) has left for Astana for a visit.
"The delegation headed by Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the NAP, Ali Ahmadov, visits Astana upon the invitation of the Kazakh ruling People's Democratic Party "Nur Otan", an official website of the party reported.
The NAP was established by the chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Heydar Aliyev in 1992. The current President Ilham Aliyev is the chairman of the Party which has been ruling for already 16 years.
The main aim of the visit is to attend the V General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), where NAP enters. "The conference will discuss ways to solve the global economic crisis and its consequences, increasing role of the young political leaders and women in public life," the same source added.
