Brussels to discuss forming EU new policy in Caspian region

Brussels will host a round-table on the "EU and the Caspian Region - Strategy Selection" June 7 with the support of the European Policy Center and the King Baudouin Foundation. The event will be held within the Trans-Caspian Political Platform.
Azerbaijan Presidential Center for Strategic Studies Director Elkhan Nuriyev will pay a visit to Brussels to participate in the round-table as a keynote speaker.
The event will be attended by European Policy Center Senior Consultant and Trans-Caspian Political Platform Chairman Borut Grgik, EU Special Representative for Central Asia Pierre Morel, MEP Evgeni Kirilov, Silk Road Institute Director Svante Cornell, and Kazakh Ambassador to the EU Erik Utembayev.
The round-table aims to create a more dynamic EU policy in the Caspian region, and will discuss contemporary geopolitics, regional cooperation, energy security, regional conflicts, investments and business cooperation.
