Azerbaijani scientist became member of Georgian Academy of Sciences

Academician at the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Jamil Aliyev has been today elected a member of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Georgian Health, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Andria Urushadze told Trend on Tuesday.
"We are very pleased that such a reputable scientist became the foreign member-academician of our academy," Urushadze said.
Aliyev is also a member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. He is an oncologist and has long cooperated with scientists from Georgia.
Aliyev is on a visit to Georgia to attend the 80th anniversary of the Tbilisi Medical State University. Today he has delivered a lecture on oncology.
