Iran's National Museum head arrested

Head of Iran's National Museum Azadeh Ardakani was dismissed and arrested, Mehr News reported.

According to the agency, Daryoush Akbarzadeh was appointed to take her place as Head of the National Museum today.

"More senior officials have been arrested due to accusation of corruption and endangering national security", quoted Prosecutor General of Iran Gholam Hossein Mohsen-Ejei on Monday.
Earlier Aras Free Trade Zone managing director Alireza Moghimi, head of the Iranian Ervend Free Trade Zone Ali Asgar Perhizkar and the former Deputy Foreign Minister for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mohammad Sharif Malekzadeh and several official senoirs were arrested.

According to the report, all of them are close with the former head of the presidential administration, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Office Esfandiyar Rahim Mashaei. Some of them are chareged with corruption and some else with national security cases.
