Baku, Azerbaijan, August 10. A total of 1,052 candidates have been registered for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, said Mazahir Panahov, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan, during a briefing, Trend reports.
The complete list of registered candidates, representing 125 electoral districts, is available on the Central Election Commission’s website.
On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
