Victims of human traffic to get free legal aid in Azerbaijan

Free legal aid will be rendered to victims of human traffic in Azerbaijan to support fight against human traffic, the Association of women-lawyers told Trend .

The Association of women-lawyers within the framework of the project Legal aid to victims of human traffic will hold monitoring on human traffic, legal aid to victims of family violence and general situation of human traffic.

Highly skilled lawyers and psychologists will operate in the legal aid center established in Baku to protect rights of victims of human traffic.

Free legal aid will be rendered to victims of human traffic via the legal aid center, as well as free hot line on fight against human traffic, legal protection of victims of human traffic and prosecution in the court.

Women, under age teenagers, young people, migrants, NGO and victims of human traffic, street children, beggars, homeless children, and children left their homes and arrived in the capital in search of a job and victims of family violence applying from Apr. 1 to the Center will be able to get aid.

The project is implemented under financial aid of the European Commission.
