BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. Azerbaijan exported products worth almost $7.9 billion in 1Q2022, which is almost two times (by 92.8 percent) more than in the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing Azerbaijan State Customs Committee (SCC).
The share of the public sector in Azerbaijan's exports amounted to $3.1 billion, or 38.9 percent of its total volume during this period.
The share of the private sector amounted to more than $4.8 billion, or 60.8 percent of its total volume.
Individuals exported $20.9 million (0.27 percent).
Azerbaijan totally exported 1,910 and imported 6,075 items of goods, carrying out foreign trade operations with 152 countries in 1Q2022.
Most of the Azerbaijani exports were oil, oil products, electricity, fruits, and vegetables, also chemical products from January through March 2022.
