BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. The public catering turnover of Baku increased by 30.1 percent from January through February 2023 compared to the same period of the previous year, to 148.3 million manat ($87.2 million), Trend reports via the Baku City Statistics Department.
The catering turnover of legal entities accounted for 126.1 million manat ($74.1 million), or 85 percent of the total turnover from January through February 2023.
In 2022, the turnover of public catering in Baku increased by 44.2 percent compared to 2021, to 1.096 billion manat ($643.79 million). During this period, the trade turnover in Baku increased by 5 percent compared to 2021 and stood at 30.819 billion manat ($18.1 billion).
Furthermore, in 2021, Baku's public catering activity grew by 29.2 percent compared to 2020 and amounted to 643.6 million manat ($378.04 million).
