Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 22/ corr. Trend N. Ismaylova / Volume of transactions via national interbank payment system (AZIPS) for November was reduced by 6.9% or AZN 474mln, to AZN 6.399mln, the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) said. Volume of transactions via this system made up AZN 6873mln in October.
Volume of operations via the payment clearing system for small transactions of (XONKS) reduced by AZN 12.4% to AZN 436mln in November. This index reached AZN 498mln in October.
Transactions through AZIPS and XONKS systems made up 36,000 and 172,000 respectively, or down by 10% and 3.4% as compared in October were carried out in this period.
AZIPS users numbered 47, while XONKS users constituted 51 in November.
Official exchange rate on Dec. 22 makes up AZN 0.802 per USD 1.
