An informational center will be established under the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents, the committee said on Feb. 9.
"The center will be set up as part of a project implemented by German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) with individual component on standardization," the committee said.
An informational center, including information about present standards and other technical and legislative base, will also inform about adoption of new normative technical documents.
A day of launching center's activity is not announced.
In the end of January the State Committee's delegation visited Lithuania to familiarize with activity of Lithuania's department on standardization with similar center, the committee said.
Azerbaijan and Lithuania plan to sign the bilateral agreement on standardization and estimation of conformity.
