Iran is prepared to annul its visa regime with Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said in an interview with Trend in Baku.
"Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Vasif Talibov recently visited Tehran. He raised the question of annulling the visa regime between the two countries as Azerbaijani pilgrims travel to Iran in large numbers. In an official response, I said we are prepared to annul the visa regime with Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic," Mottaki said.
Iran annulled its visa regime with Turkey, the minister said.
