Prices on the primary housing market in Baku increased by 3.9 percent to $861 per square meter in August, Director General of the MBA Group consulting company, Nusrat Ibrahimli, said on Sept.2.
There are not almost cheap apartments on the primary housing market in Baku, as result of which the portfolio of the primary housing market decreased by 11.8 percent, Ibrahimli said.
An average price of apartment on the primary housing market in Baku fell by 2 percent and was $86.62. The average area of apartments was decreased by four percent and was 972 square meters.
In July, average prices on the primary housing market in Baku increased by 0.5 due to the resumption of mortgage loaning through the Azerbaijani Mortgage Fund (AMF) under the Central Bank. The AMF suspended the mortgage loaning due to the lack of fund in 2007.
