The Azerbaijani Tax Ministry will toughen the fight against corruption, Minister Fazil Mammadov told Trend.
"The fight against corruption will be further tightened. If such cases take place, all units will be instructed to liquidate them," Mammadov said.
He said that while revealing these cases, they will be investigated.
According to the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, an extended meeting of the Commission Against Corruption was held on Jan. 27. The work done in the country was discussed. The relevant state bodies, including the central executive bodies, were instructed to increase efficiency while combating corruption.
At present, the country implements the national strategy to fight corruption and increase transparency in 2007-2011.
