In May "Azerbaijan Airlines" plans to purchase the sixth Airbus-320aircraft, Azerbaijan Airlines spokesman Maharram Safarli said on Friday.
"The sixth in succession plane will arrive in May," Safarli said.
Safarli said that if earlier it was supposed that the company will purchase four aircrafts of Airbus-320 brand and two aircrafts of Airbus-319 brand, later it was decided that all the aircrafts will be Airbus-320 brand. In particular, one of the main reasons for the revision of the order is aircraft capacity. The aircrafts are acquired on the basis of credit from leading European airlines. All aircrafts manufactured in 2007 have been already exploited.
Also, Safarli said the company is supposed to get a new modern aircraft of Boeing-767 brand soon.
"In late May - early June, we expect to get a new aircraft," Safarli said.
